Eco Tech Electrical Contractors limited
good communication fast service very nice to deal with good quality workmanship.
It was beyond a pleasure to work with Shahi Patel of Eco Tech Electrical Contractors Ltd. Shahi Patel is very professional and knowledgeable. He always goes that extra mile to explain things in layman terms, which is extremely useful. I would highly recommend Shahi Patel, Surinder who manages all the administrative functions and Eco Tech Electrical Contractors Ltd --- They are a brilliant team. Review from a super satisfied customer, Adrienne.
Great service from Eco Tech Electrical Contractors Ltd. My shop shutter in IG11 kept tripping the fuse which also caused my security door mag‑lock to stop working. As a gold shop this was a serious security issue. Shashi arrived quickly, diagnosed the fault and repaired everything professionally. Very reliable and trustworthy electrician. Highly recommended
We’ve used Eco Tech Electrical Contractors several times now for different compliance jobs and they’ve been excellent every time. They carried out our EICR last year, then installed our fire alarm panel and emergency lighting, and most recently helped us with surge protection after we had issues with our machines and inverters. All the work has been completed to a very high standard, everything is explained clearly, and the service is always reliable and professional. Highly recommended for any commercial electrical or compliance work.
I had an excellent experience- booked in very last minute and they were able to accommodate me. The pricing was upfront and very reasonable with no hidden costs for extra circuits (as I've experienced before). The certificate was very quickly shared after the job was finished. Highly recommend.
Excellent service, they are really professional and very polite people. I was impressed.

Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) is the process of inspecting and testing electrical appliances to confirm they are safe, compliant, and fit for continued use. PAT testing helps identify faults that could lead to electric shock, fire, or equipment failure, protecting both people and property.
At Property Cert Experts, PAT testing is carried out by qualified electricians using calibrated testing equipment, ensuring accurate results and reliable certification.

PAT testing involves a combination of visual inspection and electrical testing of portable appliances. This ensures that faults such as damaged cables, loose connections, or internal defects are detected early — before they become serious hazards.
While PAT testing is not always a legal requirement, it is a legal duty of care under the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 to ensure all electrical equipment is safe.
Our PAT testing service provides a thorough and efficient inspection of your electrical appliances, including:
Visual inspection of appliances and plugs
Checking for damaged cables, cracked casings, loose wiring, and signs of overheating.
Electrical safety testing
Testing earth continuity, insulation resistance, and polarity where required.
Pass / Fail labelling
Each appliance is clearly labelled with test status and re-test dates.
PAT register and certification
A full test record provided for compliance, audits, and insurance purposes.
Clear advice on failed items
Practical recommendations on repair, replacement, or further investigation.
Kettles, microwaves, and kitchen equipment
Computers, monitors, and office equipment
Extension leads and power strips
Cleaning machinery and floor equipment
Hand tools and portable site equipment
PAT testing is suitable and often required for:
Landlords and rental properties
HMO properties
Offices and commercial premises
Shops, restaurants, and salons
Schools, care homes, and public buildings
Construction sites and workshops
Many insurance providers and local authorities require regular PAT testing as proof of safe working equipment.
Testing intervals depend on the environment, usage, and appliance type:
Offices: typically every 1–2 years
Rental properties & HMOs: often annually
Construction sites: every 3–6 months
High-use or public equipment: more frequent checks
We will advise on the correct testing schedule based on your setup.
Qualified and experienced electricians
Accurate testing with calibrated equipment
Clear certification and digital records
Competitive, transparent pricing
Flexible bookings with minimal disruption
We help you stay compliant, insured, and confident in the safety of your appliances.
